To get inside your iPhone 4S you will need a pentalobe 5-point star screwdriver. There are two pentalobe screws on opposite sides of the USB dock at the bottom on your iPhone 4S that must be removed. These are special screws created by Apple so you need this special tool!
(1) Mini suction cup
After the pentalobe screws have been removed the suction cup is used to lift up the iPhone screen. The pry tools and guitar picks can also come in handy during the removal of your iPhone 4S screen.
(1) Mini phillips screwdriver
Once inside your iPhone 4S, there are very tiny phillips screws that will need to be removed in order to access various areas and remove certain parts.
(1) Mini flathead screwdriver
The small flathead is used to remove the hollow second layer screws. It can also be used to push the metal screw mounts of the iPhone 4 screens frame away from the housing, during removal.
Use the non-conductive pry tools and picks when unplugging cables and antennas that are attached to your iPhone 4S logic board. This is a good precaution to avoid potential static and short circuit damage.

'The screwdrivers, of course, were obvious, but I was unsure about the proper way to use the other tools in the kit. A simple explanation of each tool included would be nice.'

'You get what you pay for- These tools are cheap. The pry tool won't last long - but I got 3 of them instead of the advertised 1 (YMMV). You have to be careful using the phillips screwdriver on some of the internal screws - but with patience it'll be fine. For $6 it was all I needed for the repair'

'Cute little tool kit. Suggest you buy the kit if you don't have some left over from other repairs. I broke one of the plastic pry tool on the first use but was able to still use it to do the work.'
